Camping - Food for Mind, Body and Spirit.

A sanctuary awaits you.

The Sanctuary at Sonoita Creek Campground is a refuge for birders, hikers, bikers, paddlers and wine enthusiasts! We have three RV spaces and two fully remodeled vintage trailers available for nightly or weekly rentals. We're located in the beautiful town of Patagonia, AZ just 1/4 mile from the Tucson Audubon's Paton Center and a mile from Nature Conservancy trails. The Sanctuary is a little over an hours drive from Tucson and less than an hour from Sierra Vista or Tombstone. The wineries of Sonoita and Elgin are a 15 minute drive away.

If you’re looking for a place to reconnect, recharge and renew, you’ll find it here at Sanctuary. You get the best of our town, including quaint cafes, old time saloons and local shopping PLUS easy access to hiking, birding and Southern Arizona’s wine country. Patagonia Lake is just 7 miles down the road and the Arizona Trail runs north and south of town. Patagonia’s diverse ecosystem brings in potential life birds in all seasons and is the place to see the rare violet-crowned hummingbird.
